Seattle Seahawks’ defensive end Frank Clark apparently had enough of Tyler Lockett being the only rookie making plays in the end zone, so he did something about it in Thursday night’s preseason finale against the Oakland Raiders.
Facing second-and-16 from their own 5-yard line, the Raiders lined up in the shotgun formation, and quarterback Matt McGloin dropped back into the end zone. He never saw the unblocked Clark coming from off the blindside. The Michigan product sacked McGloin and forced a fumble that skipped away in the endzone. Defensive tackle Jordan Hill jumped and corralled the ball in the end zone, giving the Seahawks a touchdown that made the score 17-0 with 11:21 left in the second quarter.
