One of the great stories from Seattle Seahawks preseason was the retention of sixth-round rookie right tackle Michael Jerrell on the active roster.
Taken with their eighth and final selection of the 2024 NFL Draft, Jerrell became just the fourth player ever to be drafted out of the University of Findlay, a private school in Findlay, Ohio. He was also the only player in the entire class to come from a Division II program.
Often projected to be a possible practice squad player even throughout his impressive preseason, Jerrell did one better and made the initial regular season roster.
