Video: Jeremiah Smith, cousin of Geno Smith, has electrifying Ohio State debut

Ohio State University knows a thing or two about recruiting and producing great wide receivers, and their newest freshman is poised to continue the tradition.

In the Buckeyes’ season opener against the Akron Zips, Jeremiah Smith caught 6 passes for 92 yards and 2 touchdowns in a predictable 52-6 romp. A star player at Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory in Hollywood, Florida, Smith was the number one high school recruit in the country regardless of position.
