Seahawks running back Travis Homer didn’t have a very big showing in his first game as a replacement starter against Arizona in week 16. He only finished the game with 5 carries for 16 yards.
After a week of preparation to become the starting running back, Homer made a big impact in both the run and passing games against San Francisco, even though the team lost. He ultimately finished with 62 yards on 10 carries and caught 5 passes for 30 yards. Homer averaged over 6.0 yards per play when the ball was put in his hands and converted for Seattle multiple times on crucial downs.
