There were a couple of ex-Seahawks transactions made on Thursday, with one of them coming as a direct result of another former Seahawk being placed on injured reserve.
The first move to report is veteran defensive tackle Tony McDaniel going to the New Orleans Saints. McDaniel was part of the Seahawks defensive interior rotation in 2013 and 2014, then was released in the 2015 offseason. After a single season in Tampa with the Buccaneers, McDaniel reunited with Seattle in 2016, playing in 14 games and starting 11 of them.
