The Seahawks have been a mostly successful franchise over the last 10 years. Maybe they have only won one Super Bowl but they went to back-to-back Super Bowls and you know how many teams can say that? Well, besides the Patriots no other team since the Seahawks in 2013 and 2014 have been to back-to-back Super Bowls since the 1998 and 1999 Denver Broncos.
Seattle, though, has been to the playoffs in eight of Pete Carroll’s 10 years in Seattle. That is really good. It is easy for 12s to get side-tracked with a feeling of underappreciation of just how much success the Seahawks have had under Carroll.
