SEATTLE -- Following last week's 14-5 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll insisted his team's offensive performance was just a hiccup and not the start of a trend.
After a 40-7 win Sunday night against the Carolina Panthers, it seems Carroll knew what he was talking about.
The offense moved up and down the football with ease, scoring on eight of 11 possessions.
And perhaps most encouraging were the contributions the Seahawks got from two guys who'd had quiet years up to this point: running back Thomas Rawls and wide receiver Tyler Lockett.
