Thomas Rawls inactive in Seahawks opener vs. Green Bay

Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls headlines the list of inactive players for Seattle in Sunday's season-opener against the Green Bay Packers.

Rawls returned the practice last week after not seeing the field since Aug. 13, due to a high-ankle sprain. Coach Pete Carroll said Friday that the expected lead tailback would be a game-day decision.

Also inactive Sunday: Running back J.D. McKissic, rookie free safety Tedric Thompson, rookie strong safety Delano Hill, linebacker Michael Wilhoite, rookie offensive lineman Jordan Roos and offensive tackle Isaiah Battle. Wilhoite (calf) and Hill (shoulder) are both injury scratches.

Inactive for the Green Bay Packers: CB Josh Hawkins, RB Aaron Jones, CB Lenzy Pipkins, G Lucas Patrick, T Bryan Bulaga, DT Montravius Adams and DT Quinton Dial.
