The Seattle Seahawks have a history of being incapable of playing normal football games, and the Mike Macdonald regime is far from impervious to that axiom. The New York Giants came to town, and the Leonard Williams/Julian Love/Geno Smith/probably somebody else revenge game fell flat. It was a rarity in the Pete Carroll era that the Seahawks would lose two straight, but the Mike Macdonald refuses to shy away from adversity. From the get-go, this game was a messy one. Seattle’s opening drive stalled out early, and the Giants, faced with 3rd & 17 would convert off a screen pass.
