Pete Carroll joined Mike Salk and Brock Huard on 710 ESPN Seattle to break down what happened in Seattle's win over the Steelers. Listen in.
A few notes:
— Steelers protected with the back and the tight end a lot. Made rushing the passer really difficult.
— Biggest difference in Russell Wilson's improved play is the protection from he offensive line. Really ripping throws when he had a good pocket.
— Receivers made amazing catches, it all adds up when that happens, and the pass game looks much better.
— Steelers have the toughest passing attack that they'll face this year; very similar in talent/style to the Cardinals
— Seahawks gave up a few busts on Big Ben scrambles, "chased the QB before we stayed covered".
