One of my favorite things about football, particularly the offseason, is the rampant speculation. With so many moving parts, everything is fluid, and so much change can occur in such a short span of time. The natural secrecy of both the business and the sport of football leads to some imaginative thinking amongst the fans and media alike, creating this palpable sense of dramatic anticipation that has a narcotic effect on us all.
