The Open Field: What’s been the most disappointing part of the Seahawks’ losing streak?

When the Seattle Seahawks started out 3-0 for the first time since 2020, the team had played some sloppy football against mostly bad competition—the Denver Broncos win might age a little better than expected—but 3-0 is still 3-0. The real test was to come in the form of the Detroit Lions and San Francisco 49ers, with a (seemingly) bad New York Giants team sandwiched in the middle.

Welp. They lost them all, including the Giants game, which arguably should’ve been a bigger margin of defeat than the Lions and 49ers outings.

I’m on record as predicting the Seahawks will finish 10-7 and that the first half of the season would be brutal for them.
