DK Metcalf has been a polarizing player for the Seattle Seahawks. Drafted in the second round back in 2019, Metcalf quickly became an exciting deep threat with the type of elite speed that shouldn’t exist for someone his size.
Since entering the league, Metcalf ranks 16th in total receptions (372), 10th in receiving yards (5,332), and 5th in receiving touchdowns (43) among all wide receivers. The Seahawks are 26th in pass attempts during that span, so it’s not as if he’s been in a high-volume offense where he can enjoy even more targets.
And yet, he’s also been frequently subject to trade speculation over the past couple of years.
