We’re exactly two weeks out from the Seattle Seahawks’ preseason opener against the Los Angeles Chargers. In recent seasons, particularly with the reduction to three exhibition games, we’ve seen most NFL teams adopt the approach of not playing veterans and projected starters even more than one series for the entirety of August. It’s a far cry from the formulaic “starters play a fair chunk of the second and third preseason games” we often saw in years past.
This wouldn’t normally be a topic of discussion if not for the significant roster turnover the Seahawks have had between the coaches and the players.
