Someone should’ve told the Seattle Seahawks players that Turnover Thursday isn’t a thing anymore with this coaching staff, because they fumbled/threw the ball to the San Francisco 49ers another three times in front of a national audience, dropping their turnover differential in 2024 to a -6.
That’s not great but frankly it could’ve been even worse.
The Seahawks benefitted from a missed call when replay eventually showed that Dee Williams touched a punt that San Francisco then fell on. Mark Butterworth, the NFL's VP of instant replay, said in a pool report that the league was not sent that replay angle until it was too late.
