Quarterback Ryan Tannehill is inactive for the Miami Dolphins' game against the Chicago Bears because of an injury to his throwing shoulder, and Brock Osweiler will make his first start for the team.
Tannehill was limited in Friday's workout — the first time he has missed practice time because of the injury. It began bothering him last month, and he was first on an injury report the week of Sept. 24.
Osweiler signed with Miami as a free agent in March and has thrown five passes this year. He made 25 career starts for Denver and Houston.
