The concept of passing the football is easy to understand. The quarterback takes the snap and throws the ball to an open receiver. A beautiful sideline pass thrown to a player standing all by himself should be equally simple to watch.
Not for me, at least not during a recent NFL game. I had to wait for the ball to be caught and see which way the receiver ran to know if it was a completed pass or an interception.
How could a lifelong football fan and Seahawks season-ticket holder not be able to tell what was going on?
