After the Seahawks made Stephen Sullivan their final selection in the 2020 NFL Draft, there was some confusion as to whether Sullivan would be a wide receiver or tight end in Seattle. Pete Carroll cleared that up, declaring Sullivan a tight end, and that remained true throughout camp as the converted receiver worked with the tight end group.
Now a member of the team’s practice squad, it appears Carroll and the Seahawks are getting creative in finding a spot for the rookie. On Wednesday, Seattle updated their official roster, which now lists Sullivan as both a tight end and defensive end, invoking memories of former Seahawk Jameson Konz.
