The Seattle Seahawks have agreed to re-sign linebacker Ernest Jones IV to a three-year, $33 million deal that includes $15 million guaranteed, a source confirmed to ESPN.
Jones is the second impact defender to agree to return to the Seahawks before the start of the negotiating period Monday. Earlier Sunday, defensive tackle Jarran Reed agreed to a three-year deal worth up to $25 million, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Jones, 25, was traded twice in the span of two months last year -- first from the Los Angeles Rams to the Tennessee Titans, then from Tennessee to the Seattle Seahawks -- but appeared to find a home with Seattle.
