Despite facing a slew of injuries both before kickoff and over the course of the game, the Seahawks closed out their road schedule in 2019 with a win against the lowly Panthers. In Carolina, Seattle saw their best players at all three levels of the defense either exit during the game or be inactive, but still escaped with a 30-24 win. Those injuries made for some interesting juggling, which we will get into below:
- In the Seahawks’ first game since Rashaad Penny suffered a season-ending injury, Chris Carson saw his playtime remain at the high level it was last week, and prior to Penny’s good form, as he played 76 percent of the offense’s snaps.
