The Seattle Seahawks played something resembling an actual football game Saturday evening, defeating the Los Angeles Chargers 16-3 at SoFi Stadium to open the Mike Macdonald era. As a preseason game the performance will not carry any weight once the regular season arrives, however, it was an opportunity for fans to sit back and enjoy the excitement and dread of a football game.
With all that said, due to the increased size of the offseason rosters, the number of players seeing the field for extended work was far greater than usual, even with many first string players not participating.
