  • <p&gtWith the majority of the teamu2019s starters figuring to make early exits on Thursday (if they play at all), the battles between the fringe players on the roster will be the most prominent storylines to keep an eye on. It may not be quite as fun as watching Russell Wilson, Marshawn Lynch, Richard Sherman and Co., but donu2019t underestimate the potential future importance of the compeitions for some of those final spots. The Seahawks have compiled arguably the deepest roster in football under GM John Schneider and head coach Pete Carroll thanks in large part to their aptitude for maximizing contributions from their depth players. You never know where the next diamond in the rough can come from.</p>
