Seattle Seahawks cornerback Shaquill Griffin was absent from the team’s final injury report on Thursday, meaning that it is likely he’s ready to start vs the Dallas Cowboys in their wild card matchup on Saturday night. Griffin hurt his ankle in the previous game against the Arizona Cardinals, playing in only 17 snaps in Week 17. Griffin did not practice the previous two days.
Meanwhile, fullback Tre Madden is doubtful, while guard J.R. Sweezy is questionable. Pete Carroll has been calling Sweezy a “game time decision,” which is the same note he gave for Griffin but now the cornerback seems okay to go.
