Tuesday the Seattle Seahawks hosted free agent linebacker Mychal Kendricks on a free agent visit, giving him a chance to show the team he has been with the past two seasons an opportunity to inspect his surgically repaired knee. The knee, however, has not been the only uncertainty surrounding Kendricks, of course, as he’s been waiting to be sentenced for insider trading since pleading guilty to two felonies in September 2018.
That sentencing had been scheduled for the second week of October, but it has been postponed once again.
For all intents and purposes, this gives teams the peace of mind that Kendricks will be available to play for a team that signs him through the duration of the 2020 NFL season.
