The Seattle Seahawks are set to kick off the 2019 preseason on Thursday when they host the Denver Broncos, however, late Wednesday word came down about when Seahawks linebacker Mychal Kendricks will appear in court for sentencing.
As TMZ first reported, Kendricks is now scheduled to be sentenced on September 25, which is the Wednesday after the team’s Week 3 game against the New Orleans Saints and just prior to the first division game of the year in Week 4 against the Arizona Cardinals.
While the immediate reaction to this among many fans is worry that Kendricks may then miss the remainder of the season after sentencing, as has been noted elsewhere in the past, he is likely to be available for the duration of the 2019 season.
