The NFL has levied its fines for games played last weekend, and while there was one resulting from the Dallas-Seattle contest, it did not involve the block in which Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette suffered injuries that sent him to the hospital.
Instead, the only fine from the game was assessed to Seattle’s Michael Bennett, for $20,000, for a hit late in the game on Dallas quarterback Matt Cassel that drew a personal foul penalty for roughing the passer.
Heath was also penalized, officially for an illegal blindside block, when he hit Lockette with 12 seconds to go in the first half.
