Cornerback Cary Williams was a new addition to the injury report for the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday while Marshawn Lynch and Paul Richardson also sat out.
The Seattle Seahawks’ injury report for Thursday included one new name — starting cornerback Cary Williams. Williams was listed as not participating due to a hip injury. He was not listed earlier in the week with the injury so presumably it happened in practice, though details were not available since coach Pete Carroll does not speak to the media on Thursday.’
Four other players also did not participate in practice Thursday: LB Bruce Irvin, who has already been declared out for Sunday’s game against the 49ers with a knee injury; RB Marshawn Lynch (abdomen), WR Paul Richardson (hamstring) and DL Michael Bennett (non-injury related, meaning he took a rest day).
