Seattle Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette has been released from Baylor Medical Center Thursday, Tweeting the news himself.
Lockette wrote: “Thanks for all the support. I’ve just been released from the hospital and the road to recovery has started!!! God did it #seahawks”
Lockette has been declared out for the season having suffered ligament damage in his neck when he was blocked hard by Dallas’ Jeff Heath while covering a punt with 12 seconds left in the first half of Sunday’s 13-12 win over the Cowboys.
Lockette had surgery Monday afternoon at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
