Seattle’s two-year reign as NFC West champs is over thanks to Arizona’s 40-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday night.
Arizona is now 12-2 and has a three-game lead on the 9-5 Seahawks with two games remaining.
Seattle won the NFC West in 2013 and 2014, drawing a first-round bye and homefield advantage.
But the Seahawks will now be relegated to having to open the playoffs on the road as a Wild Card team as either the No. 5 or the No. 6 seed in the NFC.
Seattle currently holds the No. 5 seed, The Seahawks are tied at 9-5 with Minnesota but has the tiebreaker on the Vikings thanks to a win at Minnesota two weeks ago.
