After an unexpected return to the Seattle Seahawks towards the end of last season, cornerback Byron Maxwell will be staying with the team heading into 2018.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter has the early details:
CB Byron Maxwell and the Seahawks have agreed on a one-year deal worth up to $3 million, per source.

Please note the “worth up to $3 million,” as that surely means that his contract features plenty of incentives.
The 30-year-old Maxwell was released by the Miami Dolphins early in the 2017 season, but found himself back on the Seahawks roster shortly after the season-ending injury to Richard Sherman.
