While the percentages for the Seattle Seahawks to make the playoffs have continued to improve the last three weeks, their odds of winning the division have only worsened.
None of which should be any surprise.
While Seattle has won three in a row so, too, have the Arizona Cardinals continued to win, having taken their last six in a row.
Seattle is 7-5 and Arizona 10-2 with four games remaining, and that has those who puts odds to such things giving the Seahawks an increasingly slim chance to catch the Cardinals (in fact, Arizona can clinch a tie for the NFC West with a win over Minnesota Thursday, and would clinch the division with a win and a Seahawks’ loss or tie this week).
