The Seattle Seahawks signed tight end Anthony McCoy to their active roster to add depth at the position following the season-ending injury to Jimmy Graham in Week 12.
The team announced the signing of the former sixth-round pick on Wednesday, a day after they released tight end Chase Coffman, whom they'd signed last week. The Seahawks also announced the signing of third-year safety Akeem Davis.
McCoy, 27, was released by Seattle in their final round of roster cuts on Sept. 5. He was then signed by Washington two days later and appeared in seven games, compiling no statistics before being released on Nov.
