Seahawks' Tyler Lockett sets team return yards record

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Rookie Tyler Lockett set a Seahawks' single-game record with 139 punt return yards on four returns Sunday, smashing the mark that belonged to Charlie Rogers, who had 106 at Pittsburgh on Sept. 26, 1999.

Lockett, a third-round pick in in 2015 draft, had a productive rookie season as a wide receiver with 64 catches for 628 yards and six touchdowns. He was a factor in the return game as well, running back both a kickoff and a punt for touchdowns this season.

Lockett’s longest return gained 66 yards in the second quarter, but the most jaw-dropping one came with just over three minutes to go in the first half.
