For the first time, the Seattle Seahawks have a player on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Second-year wide receiver John Ursua was placed on that list on Sunday. Seattle was previously one of six teams that hadn’t had any player on the Reserve/COVID-19 list since training camp began two weeks ago.
Ursua’s placement here means that either he tested positive for COVID-19 or he’s in quarantine because he was in close contact with someone who has the virus. Teams won’t disclose whether a player has tested positive. Players on the list don’t count against their team’s active roster limit while on reserve.
