Seahawks waive another UDFA rookie to make room for Blake Lynch

The Seattle Seahawks brought in veteran linebacker Blake Lynch to the roster ahead of Monday’s practice. With the 90-man roster already full, that meant someone had to be let go.

Undrafted free agent rookie center Mike Novitsky has been waived, according to a team announcement. Novitsky started with the University of Buffalo before transferring to Kansas for the final three seasons of a six-season collegiate career.

This also means that of the 16 UDFA rookies signed by the Seahawks immediately following the conclusion of the NFL Draft, six have already been let go before the first preseason game:
