It’s here!
Seattle Seahawks football is starting a new chapter. Pete Carroll is out, Mike Macdonald is in as the first-time head coach. His task is to beat the team Carroll defeated in Super Bowl 48: the Denver Broncos. Of course, both teams are far removed from their Super Bowl days, but this is still a rivalry that dates back to Seattle’s AFC West years.
Unlike 2022, when it was Russell Wilson making his return to Seattle in a Broncos uniform, the new starting QB in Denver is rookie Bo Nix out of Oregon. He was taken with the 12th overall pick in this year’s draft, and won the starting job over Jarrett Stidham and Zach Wilson.
