The Seahawks are pretty good. So are the Vikings. If the season were to end today, both teams would make the postseason. Also, both teams have a chance to win their respective divisions. Minnesota is tied for the NFC North lead with the Packers while Seattle trails the 49ers by one loss.
Seattle and the Vikings both like to run the ball and both teams are led on offense by efficient quarterbacks. Minnesota’s Kirk Cousins currently leads the NFL in QBR (114.8) as far as passing and Seattle’s Russell Wilson is second (112.1). But in ESPN’s Total QBR, which incorporates all of a quarterback’s contributions to winning a game, Wilson is better than Cousins.
