The games between the Seahawks and Panthers used to be a matchup of two playoff teams needing to overcome the other to get to the Super Bowl. Not so much anymore. Seattle is still relevant, yet trying to get back to a Super Bowl level. Carolina isn’t going to make the playoffs in 2019 and it will be the third season out of the last four that this will be the case.
Injuries will factor into who is going to win the game. Carolina lost starting quarterback Cam Newton weeks ago. Seattle will definitely be without Jadeveon Clowney this week (sickness and core injury), probably Ziggy Ansah (neck) too.
