If fans are truly boycotting Seahawks games for whatever reasons the TV ratings continue to show little evidence. Actually, they don’t show any.
Sunday’s home game against the Indianapolis Colts drew a 42.6 rating and a 68 share locally, which is basically on par with any other number from the past few years — there’s always a few points of difference one way or the other.
That number was higher than the Seahawks’ first three games, which had an average rating of 39.0, including a 35.8 for the loss at Tennessee (the rating is the percent of all TVs in the Seattle-Tacoma area tuned into the game while the share is the number of those watching TV at the time who were tuned in).
