The Seahawks signed a running back today they hope will give them some explosive ability on third down. Marcelias Sutton bounced around a bit in college, going from junior college to the University of Oklahoma. Sutton didn’t get a ton of action with the Sooners but Seattle doesn’t really care about such trifles.
Remember that starter Chris Carson was a seventh-round pick. Now think about all the NFL general managers crying themselves to sleep at night because they realize they could have had Carson but that they aren’t as smart as John Schneider.
