The sun was out, the breeze off Lake Washington was cool, and a bald eagle floated in circles over the field for about five minutes while the Seattle Seahawks took the field. A seaplane even landed in the distance at one point. You couldn’t paint a better picture of a Puget Sound football practice with oil and brush.
I wasn’t able to get a press pass, so I was only able to interview one guy. It was with the DJ. He wore a jersey that said “Kemyst” and blasted hip-hop throughout practice. He told me it was his first day as Seattle Seahawks DJ – and that he did not DJ during the Carroll era.
