The Seattle Seahawks’ 2021 home opener is just two weeks away, and unlike last season there will be a full house of fans at Lumen Field. However, the COVID-19 pandemic is nowhere near over, so health and safety measures have been updated.
Effective immediately, Seahawks home games will require either proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test in order to access the stadium. Today (Sept. 7) also marks the start of King County’s outdoor mask mandate, which applies to large gatherings such as sporting events.
In close collaboration with state and local public health and government officials, the Seattle Seahawks and Lumen Field announced today that all guests age 12 and older will be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours prior to kickoff to attend Seahawks games at Lumen Field.
