Last year, Patrick Lewis was a savior or sorts.
This year he appears to be out of a job.
In his Seahawks Insider column, The New Tribune’s Greg Bell speculates that Lewis could be released by the team tomorrow.
On it’s surface it makes sense. The 25 year old Lewis is set to count $1.6 million against the teams salary cap this year, but has lost his starting job to Justin Britt. Britt, a former 2nd round pick who failed at both right tackle and left guard before the move, has apparently found a home.
