Unfortunately, the return of Abe Lucas appears to be short-lived.
After 4.5 games back in the starting lineup, the Seattle Seahawks right tackle’s ongoing knee issue resulted in his removal from the team’s 30-23 home loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pete Carroll indicated in the post-game press conference that Lucas “didn’t have enough power” in that knee to come back, so they replaced him with Stone Forsythe.
On his Seattle Sports 710 radio show on Tuesday, Carroll admitted that it’ll be a challenge for Lucas to be able to make it back for the regular season finale against the Arizona Cardinals.
