The Seattle Seahawks announced on Wednesday that they’ve signed inside linebacker Michael Dowell to their practice squad, releasing preseason fan favorite Jamie Sheriff to make room.
Michael Dowell played safety in college for his junior and senior years at Miami University in Ohio. He was at Michigan State before that. After visiting with the Seahawks in a pre-draft visit, Dowell went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft before signing as an undrafted free agent for the Cincinnati Bengals in May. Cincinnati waived him before the start of the season.
