Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald does not intend to approach the second preseason game against the Tennessee Titans like he did versus the Los Angeles Chargers.
With Seattle set for its first joint practice since 1991, Macdonald told reporters after Monday’s practice that the starters will most likely sit out the Titans game and get most of their work in during the two scrimmages, which is tentatively slated to be full pads.
“We’ve talked about this before, of why we’re doing it,” Macdonald said. “But one, the science behind it, to kind of callous the team, get ready to go for the long haul, so that’s number one.
