Defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh‘s free agent market got a bit tougher on Monday when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers released Gerald McCoy. Suh’s talent is theoretically equal to McCoy’s but McCoy doesn’t quit on his team and Suh does. The Seahawks don’t need that.
Seattle needs help to go with Jarran Reed in the middle of the defensive line. If Seattle wants to make a run at another free agent defensive tackle, they should choose to go after McCoy and let Suh sign elsewhere. Seattle is a playoff contender and could go deep in the playoffs.
