With just a day until their first preseason game of the 2018 season, the Seattle Seahawks have made another roster move.
Wide receiver and Olympic sprinter Marvin Bracy, signed by the Seahawks last Monday, was waived in order to make room for UDFA running back Gerald Holmes.
Holmes, a four-year player at Michigan State, participated in the Indianapolis Colts’ rookie minicamp in May, however he never signed. Seattle is the first team he has signed for in the NFL.
At 6-feet and 221 pounds, Holmes tested impressively at the Spartans’ pro day, jumping 10-foot-8 in the broad jump and 35 inches in the vertical.
