The Seahawks have re-signed free agent Lemuel Jeanpierre, activated Derrick Coleman from the suspended list, released Crezdon Butler, and placed Brock Coyle on the IR with designation to return.
Jeanpierre was released during Seattle's final roster cutdowns in favor of Patrick Lewis and Drew Nowak despite getting a ton of preseason action in that competition, and his return coincides with Lewis' leg injury suffered in Sunday's loss to the Panthers. It will be interesting to see if he's just depth at the center spot or if he'll get a shot at starting.
Meanwhile, Derrick Coleman was re-activated today following his suspension while the team investigated his arrest following a vehicle accident.
