The Seahawks signed former Tennessee Titans defensive end David Bass and released eight players in a flurry of roster moves Tuesday.
Among the team's cuts was veteran cornerback Perrish Cox, who signed with Seattle in January.
The 26-year-old Bass was a seventh-round pick of the Raiders out of tiny Missouri Western State in 2013, but spent his first two seasons with the Bears after being cut by Oakland before the start of his rookie season.
In four seasons with Chicago and the Tennessee Titans, the 6-foot-4, 263-pounder appeared in 49 games with nine starts, racking up 85 total tackles (10 for loss) to go along with 5.
